Applause - Applause. ![]() Enjoy the relaxation of a night out, the thrill of "ringing a chord". It is impossible to sing and be sad at the same time. As a Barbershopper you will experience the gratitude of applause but, more than that , singing is it's own reward, bringing a smile or a memory. The Harmony Brigade Barbershop Chorus is open for all men who enjoy singing. You can help enhance our already great sound. "You Can Sing Too" "The Harmony Brigade will be singing hymns at regional churches this summer and will be working on tunes from the mid 1800's Stephen Foster to the mid 1900's Beach Boys for our 61st annual show next April. We need your voices and your talents. Barbershop harmony is made up of 4 parts: leads, singing the melody, tenors on the high notes, basses on the low, and baritones filling in the chords. There is nothing like the experience of ringing a chord with 3 other parts. Clair Nerem, our director, will be glad to assist all attendees, so come sing and enjoy the evening with the most active singing group in Fort Dodge. Give it a try on any Tuesday Night from 7:00 to 9:30 P.M. at the First Congregational Church of Christ 1611 Williams Drive in Fort Dodge. You may contact us for more information or a ride. Terry Parker KEEP THE WHOLE WORLD SINGING !
