Our practice location has changed. Stop by the First Presbyterian Church at 1111 5th Ave N if you want to visit. We practice every Tuesday night 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM. We would love to see you!

Where do you sing? Perhaps in the shower; perhaps with the car radio. Have you ever experienced the thrill of helping "nail" a four note chord? Did it ring? It's a great feeling. --- If you want to live life to the fullest by singing your cares away, come to one of our rehearsals on a Tuesday night. We are the Fort Dodge Harmony Brigade. We meet most every week for a couple hours at the First Presbyterian Church at 1111 5th Ave N (click here for directions).

Now in our 74th year, we have been singing four part a'capella harmony since 1947 here in Fort Dodge, Iowa. We get together weekly and sing. Our membership comes from Fort Dodge and communities outwards to 40 miles, with our current membership at 18. Our age range is 16 to 93 and we have three organized quartets within our ranks.

We sing for our own enjoyment and audiences. We perform an annual show in April and other singing venues include Nursing Homes, civic events on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, sporting events with the National Anthem, and our summer tour of churches in Fort Dodge and surrounding communities. We promote and encourage our young people to sing by sponsoring an annual Youth in Harmony workshop & show every February.

You can become a part of the largest singing organization for men, the Barbershop Harmony Society, founded in 1938 and now organized Internationally. Come and have fun singing on Tuesday nights. You can learn great singing techniques. And you don't have to be able to read sheet music. We also use learning tapes. Although a majority of our arrangements are Barbershop, we also sing other styles of music. Our doors are always open --- the fellowship amongst members can't be beat!
